About Ann Brandeis

“This theme of challenging perception and time runs centrally through all my work, seeking to alter the perception of the human experience through art.”

Holding an MFA from Pratt Institute in Photography with a specialty in the History of Photography, Ann Brandeis explores the ideas of time and memory. Ann creates narratives that reflect on the passage of time. These images are stories, which speak of our lives. Reacting to a visual memory smell, a color, these catalysts evoke a mood causing one to remember, to reflect on that time and the vagaries of one’s life.

Her series The Landscape of Memory has been featured in FotoNostrum Publishing’s new collection:
“The World of Photography.”

Ann’s artistic pursuits have attracted international acclaim, with her works featured in exhibitions worldwide.
Her contributions have been highlighted in renowned publications such as Fine Arts Magazine, Art Hub East Hampton,
and Graphis Magazine, both in print and online formats. Within the artistic community, her talents have been consistently acknowledged through various awards and accolades from entities like IPA, PX3, Lucie, and FotoNostrum.
